The categories

The 2026 PIF ATP Rankings chapter lists five Challenger categories. The number is what the singles champion earns: 175, 125, 100, 75, or 50. The same table has the points for the final and the earlier rounds.

A first-round loss is worth nothing. A player who qualifies into the main draw adds the qualifying points to whatever he then earns. That extra does not apply at an ITF men’s event.

Challenger 175

175 ranking points to the singles champion.

Challenger 125

125 ranking points to the singles champion.

Challenger 100

100 ranking points to the singles champion.

Challenger 75

75 ranking points to the singles champion.

Challenger 50

50 ranking points to the singles champion.

Where the points go

Challenger results count on the PIF ATP Rankings. For a player on the full commitment, they sit in his best six, with the United Cup, the ATP 500s, the ATP 250s, and the ITF men’s events. The four Grand Slams, the eight mandatory Masters 1000s, and the Nitto ATP Finals are counted on their own.

The week-by-week list, with the prize money and the surface for each event, is the ATP tournament calendar.
