The weekend

Team Europe plays Team World. The 2026 edition was at The O2 in London, 25 to 27 September. There are five sessions: day and night on Friday, day and night on Saturday, and one session on Sunday.

Friday and Saturday are two singles and a doubles each day. Sunday opens with a doubles. The remaining singles are played only if they are still needed.

The score

A win on Friday is worth one point. A win on Saturday is worth two. A win on Sunday is worth three. The first team to 13 points wins the Cup.

If one match on Sunday is enough to decide it, an exhibition follows the trophy ceremony. If the teams are tied after 12 matches, one overtime doubles, called The Decider, settles it.
